A unique 10-day training in India with world renowned master teachers, authors, and founders of Svastha Yoga, A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan.
All of us know, to some extent at least, what is good and what is bad for us in our lives, yet we struggle to adhere to what is better for us & act upon it.
Two primary weaknesses of the mind in this regard are unsteadiness/wavering (the inability to remain steady in our actions & choices), and clouding (due to inaccurate knowledge and lack of clarity).
The mind is unclear and unsteady in both worldly matters and on spiritual matters. To reach our goals, worldly or spiritual, we need right knowledge and steadiness in will & action. This program will guide participants in achieving both inner peace and success in their goals—both worldly and spiritual.

The Path to Clarity and Steadiness

Over the course of this 10-day in-person training, we will explore the core questions at the root of our life experience: Who am I? What is this world? What are my relationships, and why do we have happiness and unhappiness?
Examining these through the lens of ancient Indian philosophy, we will gain a clearer understanding of the psychological patterns that drive thoughts, emotions, and actions. We will look at the six life stages in the ancient Indian darshanas (viewpoints), and study how systems like the Yoga Darshana offer effective and structured ways to work with our life challenges.
We will study the roots of mental disturbance—karma, samskaras (latent impressions), and the functioning of the mind—and see how these relate to personal patterns and challenges. In the final part of the program, we will apply what we have learned in practice: the 8 limbs of yoga, the role of dharma and personal discipline, vrata (vow), types of karma etc. And this will culminate in creating your own daily practice. Through this program, you will come away with tools to increase two fundamental capacities for wellbeing and a good life: clear knowledge and a steady mind.
“This training will guide you with tools for a steady will and clear mind.”

About the Mohans
This training program presents a rare opportunity to study and be guided by A.G. Mohan and Indra Mohan in person. In a fast-paced world, the Mohans teach us to pause and reflect, come back to the self, cultivate peace, and remain focused on what is truly important.
A. G. Mohan is one of the foremost yoga masters in this era. He began his yoga journey in 1971, spending nearly two decades as a personal student of the legendary yogi Sri Krishnamacharya. Then he immersed himself in further wide-ranging studies of ayurveda, samkhya, tantra, ancient India dramatics, jyotisha, and more over decades. He is the author of several books on yoga, including Yoga for Body, Breath, and Mind, Yoga Therapy, Krishnamacharya: His Life and Teachings and Krishnamacharya In His Own Words.
Indra Mohan began her yoga studies along with her husband, A.G. Mohan, in 1971. She is one of few people to receive a post-graduate diploma in yoga from Sri Krishnamacharya. She is appreciated by students not only for her extensive knowledge and clear teachings, but also for her wisdom and calm presence. She has guided many thousands of students over five decades to increase their wellbeing, manage their health problems, and find personal and spiritual transformation.
